Knitted Cephalopod and Bug Armada

Hi everyone - I'm thrilled to let you know that my Octopus, Squid, Kraken, Inchworm, and Pillbug knitting patterns are now available at String Yarns in NYC! I did shop samples in Koigu Kersti, which is a fabulous worsted weight multi-colored yarn. So gorgeous! So soft! Such brightly colored little critters! But I'll let the pictures speak for themselves...

If you work in a yarn shop and would like to sell these patterns, I'd love to hear from you. Or if you'd like to see them at your favorite yarn shop, ask them to get in touch!

Yer killing me. Can't stop thinking about maybe knitting baby girl to be one of your blankets. Can't decide if I will love or hate mirabilis in one of the lorna's shep worsted variegated colorways. Can't decide if I can commit to AllThatI-Cord on Anemone, though I'm smitten with the idea.

Write back with thoughts. Yer killin me!

Aww, shucks, Amber! I'm sure your new kiddo will love just about anything. Anemone is one big ruffle that gets ruffly-er as it grows, and the fringe puts it way over into labor-of-love territory. I wouldn't normally steer anybody away from my stuff, but I've seen that blanket you've been working on for so long...

And I think Mirabilis would look gorgeous in a Lorna's multi... there's one up on Rav (are you on?) that looks great - the multi makes it extra swirl-y.
